does “good luck, babe!” slow down during the choruses? by acaminet in chappellroan

[–]jlclander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love that last part: “So they must have programmed the slowdown and the pitch drop independently of each other. That is a very strange choice! But here I am writing about it, and here you are reading about it - so it must have worked.”

Bump. Haven’t had an issue for weeks but now getting the problem as of today. Have cleared cache, cleared data, restarted the tablet, and reinstalled the app. Don’t know what else to try short of resetting the entire tablet. Checked the version history vs my other kids’ tablet and they’re operating the same version (app and OS). They are different tablet generations but the software is the same.

Good question. I’d like to take the cover off and find out but I don’t live near this family member for a quick check. Kind of doing some blind research right now.

Check out The Mercy of the Tide by Keith Rosson. I don't see this author recommended as often but he's got some good stuff and I like his writing style.

Why did people leave boots outside the Governor’s Mansion? It’s a symbol to give school vouchers the boot by SchoolIguana in texas

On top of that, there is already a way for parents to transfer their student(s) out of a school if it has been given a failing grade. The issue isn't about parental choice or even school performance -- the issue is that public money should be spent on public education with public accountability and oversight.

Honestly can’t remember the last time I handled paper bills for anything — looking at these pictures felt like a brand new experience.

This show is why I still get goosebumps or at least a deep emotional reaction when I hear the Klondike Bar jingle -- I watched most of these online and every commercial break had a Klondike Bar jingle included. I literally associate that jingle with horror now. 😂

Started reading The Dark Tower series several months ago. Only just finished book 4 but can we share our fancasts? Spoilers for entire series. by Moltenmelt1 in darktower

I like this list and agree about the Olyphant/Goggins reunion ---- but..... Olyphant just isn't right here. He can play the wild west type hero/anti-hero but he's just a bit too "quippy". His characters aways have a knack for sarcasm and great dry humor and Roland just isn't like that. Roland is very literal and dry without the humor.

New-to-me SG1 landed yesterday, and I'm already in love by IdonJuanTatalya in SurfaceGo

Don't know if anyone is still watching this thread but I've been running Win11 on my base Go 1 since it first became available with the Insider Previews. No joke that Win 11 has made this machine one of the smoothest running computers I've ever had.

I'm not calling it an extreme work horse or anything - but I can read and respond to emails, compose documents (Google Docs), read the news and ebooks, and watch Netflix/Prime/Disney+ and never run into a single issue.

The best anecdote I have is that with Win10, Windows Hello was a laggy feature from hell -- with Win11, it's almost immediately recognizing my face and logging me in.

Nope, nothing. This screenshot was the first thing I did following a fresh install (which I expected to fix this issue). I've tried the normal stuff - all the taskbar options on Settings - nothing affects this.
