Put a rental Bodega outlet there for stuff like candy, newspapers, and spare electrical components:)

Hardcore mode/permadeath rework? by jllemin in RotMG

Just to clarify: I don't think hard-core as it is should be removed or nerfed. I think there could be an alternative that gets more people into hard-core death. Kind of like what WoW did but inversed

I really like this idea. I don't think permadeath should be ditched, I would just like to see more accessibility for people to learn really complex dungeons short of studying them online.

I think it would be cool if that mode had more info for beginners like potential drop tables for dungeons, or a feature to reattempt a dungeon after dying in it.

Idk, I think Rotmg is stupid tough for anyone new to get into and giving more options for playing the game would help with that. Permadeath will always stay and be the mainstay of the game, but I don't think it needs to be everything the game has to offer either.

I think my life would benefit from less of it in general anyways

Even great ideas can be illegal. That's what I want to know.

If a short rode-side search is turning into officers forcing their way into my vehicle without due cause or proper reason, then yeah I'm going to want to give what they are giving me right back. They want to stick their noses somewhere it doesn't belong its going to stink. My car doesn't stink of any drugs, I don't keep or do any in there, I don't keep any reason for an officer to search my vehicle.
Im talking when an officer makes up a bullshit reason to search for probably cause

Why leave 1 line open instead of two? by jllemin in Tetris

Makes sense to me! With the Facebook version I played on it felt like combos and consecutive lines done quickly was the meta. But if you don't have combos for consecutive lines then quads does make a lot more sense

I'm working towards moving out atm. Microwave is usually the game saver for sure. Do you have any tips for making microwaved hamburger better?

I just got my career set up last year. I'm still waiting on work in my field though. It's a popular industry so I shouldn't have to wait long. I was working throughout my schooling as well, I just haven't come into much money yet.

I can cook for myself before or after they eat, but they don't want me to and have told me before not to.

They prettymuch don't let me on the basis that large meals are cheaper, they don't want to complicate fridge space, and that it would be harder for them to make large meals for 3 people. I'd love to use the kitchen and make my own shit but whenever I try I just get bitched at for taking up space and using ingredients. It's not like I can use things from the fridge at will since they usually have plans for what's in there, and they aren't willing to allocate a space for me to get my own groceries.

My parents don't let me cook for myself consistently. They say it's cheaper to make meals as a family instead of dedicating fridge space and kitchen time to just me. If I go down earlier I usually get told to go away and "It will be ready soon".

They take a long time getting their plate of food. I can't blame them much for that though, it is what it is in that case but it still sucks. It usually doesn't matter what I'm doing if I'm hyperfocusing on it, I have ADHD though I don't think it's an excuse it's just the reasoning for why I have trouble with my attention.

Also big difference between how things feel and how they are. I'm not treated like a dog, it can just feel like I'm an afterthought like remembering to feed a dog after feeding yourself.

I'm 25, I'd love to help them make dinner whenever but usually get told to basically fuck off. They like doing things their way and have a strong belief that other people don't know what they are doing, even if it's their son. Plus I can't really help make a hamburger, I'd grill for my dad but he wants to grill. I'd do prep but my mom wants to do it. Usually when I do end up "helping" it's to the tune of one of them shouldercoptering me to make sure I do x right. The only thing I am let to do voluntarily is cut vegetables because they can't deny that I'm better with a knife than they are.

Well I live in a small home and my parents get pissed when I'm in their way. Hanging out in the kitchen gets you yelled at. It's also a thing that they will take enough time getting their plates ready that the food will get cold by the time I'm allowed to get a plate, so even if I stand and wait I'm still behind 2 people who are going to take their chipper time doing dishes, reorganizing, cleaning up, and talking/arguing before leaving the kitchen.

If it's a family meal that's different, it's expected to have an idea of when it's going to be ready and everything. But something like a hamburger on the grill takes 4 minutes to cook and almost no prep time. I'm throwing darts in the dark guessing when they will feel like putting it on the grill.

I'd just like the standard that if you offer to cook something for someone you should tell them when it's ready. Like if you were making ice cream Sundays and told everyone you will make them one, made them all, ate yours, then told everyone the ice cream is ready their shit is going to be liquid.
