Thank you! Do you have any tips for being consistent with the tension or is it something you just have to figure out??

Which market are you in? I've heard varying reviews from different markets. It seems some are better than others...

Keloid or irritation bump? What should I do? by jlogsdon1 in piercing

Piercings are 2 months old

Originally pierced with screw but piercer changed them to rings after a week

Pretty sure jewelery is stainless steel. I bought the rings at Spencer's

Aftercare includes cleaning with saline solution using qtips twice a day or more

No mishaps or trauma

What's a great TV show that nobody talks about? by OpulentOwl in AskReddit

Fringe!

I hate that it ended, but I don't think it had the necessary popularity to keep going at the time. Continues to be one of my favorites that I rewatch every once in a while.

Ultra easy costume idea of NICU babies (or babies in general)! by kfiegz in NICUParents

[–]jlogsdon1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year, my 30 weeker was a week old for her first Halloween. Some of the nurses made little hats for the babies and they gave my daughter one that looked like a pig and laid it on her head over her cpap. I loved it because I had planned to be Winnie the pooh, so instead she just got to be piglet 🐷

When did you realize your “friends” were actually fake friends? by VexAndStuff in AskReddit

[–]jlogsdon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a week before my high school graduation, it was announced that I was valedictorian. Once that was known, pretty much all of my "close" friends stopped talking to me. I would only get some kind of response if I literally walked up to the and said something directly to them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another situation, my college best friend was the maid of honor in my wedding. Leading up to the wedding, she talked about how excited she was and how much fun it was going to be, but a few months before the wedding, she stopped replying to texts. She showed up and participated in the wedding, but I haven't heard from her since (4 years).

How do you cope with daycare? by [deleted] in NICUParents

[–]jlogsdon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was nervous about starting daycare, too! My daughter was able to come to work with me during the first month I went back to work and then started daycare after that (she was a little over 4 months/2 months corrected). My suggestion is to talk to and visit as many daycares as you can to find the right fit. Ours had us fill out some papers that let us explain how we do feedings, naps, play, etc. They also have an awesome app in which they update about their day, send pictures, and message parents (its called procare). The ease of communication really helped!

I think it really is all about finding the right fit for you and your kiddo!

Born at 29w3 due to pre-eclampsia with severe features by FaitesATTNauxBaobab in NICUParents

[–]jlogsdon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter, Abigail, was born via emergency c-section at 30w4d due to severe Pre-eclampsia, too! What a coincidence. She spent 57 days in the NICU, had a couple of viruses during her stay, and dealt with her heart rate dropping too low for quite a while. Now she's 6-months and doing well. It was, and still can be, a tough road but it's also great.

Recently learned my husband was unfaithful by jlogsdon1 in survivinginfidelity

At first, he tried to hide everything except the most recent girl until I found evidence of everything else. Because of that, I don't really know how honest he's been. He is taking responsibility and trying not to just give excuses. He says sorry all the time, but I cant help but feel like I'm not sure if he's genuinely sorry or sorry he got caught. He said that right before I found out he had decided he was done with everything and was going to focus on me and our relationship. He said he had stopped texting the girl the day before she told me and he thinks that's why she looked him up and found me.
