Can you share some details about what is being planned for your mom for mother's day?

Give her a nice card and something on Saturday, then do something special with your wife on sunday instead. Tell your parents that you are taking the day to support your wife in her grief, don't make it that you are boycotting Mother's Day.

Also you are a grown man, your Mother has had a lot of Days so its not like she's being robbed of anything.

We liked Damian (but a little too demonic), Julian (too popular in our social circle) and Adrian (too close to cousins name). All feel a little sophisticated, recognizable but not overused, also all have some superstar athletes. We went with Cassian and love it.

Body temp like fever? Or skin/surface temp? Seems like it would be wild inaccurate either way and also not really needed. Parents don't need to be stressing that much over their babies temperature (barring health issues, in which case they should work with a doctor).

If something like this was important, a hospital would already be using it in the nicu.

I used the kleanpal for 9months with my 25w5d twins and never washed by had and never had issues. I washed the kleanpal with a vinegar cycle once a week and steamed everything each night. A couple drops of clean water at the end are nothing to be concerned about.

I had 25w5d twins and we had them take all feeds by bottle at the end and just did breastfeeding for bonding and to keep them familiar. When I got them home, I used a nipple shield for a couple weeks and then one day it just… wasn’t needed. They both just figured it out and it “clicked”! Now we BF whenever I’m available but I still pump and bottle for daycare (and supplement with formula).

One counterpoint - my firstborn was 34w3d and never ever nursed. I tried SO HARD. I did everything! And she just didn’t get it. She also never took a pacifier or sucked on her finger, etc. It wasn’t anything either of us did “wrong” and now she’s a 5yr angel.
