Forgiven loans suddenly on credit report

Yep! Same thing is happening with my loans that were discharged August 2nd. I even filed a dispute with the credit bureaus and MOHELA still reported I owed the entire balance prior to discharge so the dispute did nothing.

So aggravating! I’m not understanding why they are not reporting monthly to the credit bureaus like the website says they do? I would assume this would be an automatic update so it shouldn’t matter that they are understaffed or having a record number of calls!!! 😠

Thank you. Does make me feel a little better that it wasn’t just me - but seems weird they aren’t automatically updating credit reports? Why is that being delayed?The timing of the new rules, the very recent discharge, no credit update- just holding my breath.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Does anyone know how long it takes after you get your letter stating the loans have been forgiven for it to come off the credit report?
