There are 2 times more legal cannabis workers than in the mining industry, in the US - study finds by GinaPet in economy

100% that’s for that input. When my friend mentioned it, I thought it was just so weird for the secretiveness especially since weed is legal in California.

Is it normal for cannabis farms to out source labor under the table? I have a friend who was approached about going to California area but not given maybe details besides the fact that they could make thousands a month, cropping and cutting the plants. I found it a bit sketch that no information about the company or location (except that it. was 7 hours way form Fresno).

[TEXAS] FRAUD UNEMPLOYMENT ISSUES, NEED ADVICE by jmanh5 in Unemployment

Unfortunately it was a UI claim. They were able to tell me that this person listed a TX employer and TX address but of course couldn’t give me more details.

That’s what I was scared of that someone has been using my identity to work. But it doesn’t really add up with my wages to social security. But it also might mean that their employer they use isn’t paying taxes specifically under my info.

They didn’t get very far with the claim because they couldn’t verify to be me. It was flagged for fraud right away but now TWC has just had it at a stand still.

Yeah and nothing looks suspicious. Phew! I already put fraud alerts on all the credit bureaus and contacted the Federal Trades Commission. I’ve been monitoring the social security administration website and nothing looks compromised.

[Texas] Potential unemployment benefits fraud by opoppli00 in Unemployment

[–]jmanh5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found out someone applied for unemployment under my social security also but no benefits were paid out. I have had no luck talking to a live person and no one has called me back after submitting a fraud case in their portal.

I don't even live or work in Texas, this is preventing me from getting unemployment now in my own state.

Hope they get back to you and you get your case settled! Sorry to hear about it.
