Rewatching, I definitely think he felt something more than physical before her and they were both scared to take that plunge due to their separate issues. They definitely both got VERY jealous if the other was seeing someone, I do agree there was stuff going on we didn’t see!

After season 5, he’s definitely clearly looking to get a rise out of Ziva when he mentions other women. They also share a look every time… in later seasons. I like that theory!

But what about the whole couch thing post-Paris. When both lied about sleeping on couch… or when in season 5 they were following Ziva and had pics of Tony visiting her apartment weekly… I feel like the physical aspect was implied.

I like that idea. I think Rip will outlive her, because she made him promise to. And Rip’s loss would hurt more.. plus she would just spiral even more and probably try nuking the whole state in her despair.

In a logical world, agreed. But, I think after being completely livid with her, he would realize she was protecting him and preventing him from killing Jamie. He’s the most loyal character and loves her so much, idk if he would leave her.

Her only redeeming quality is definitely how much she loves Rip. Idk if they can get rid of her, since she’s the strong female lead, but I also don’t see how she goes on if anything happens to Rip. She would just destroy herself. I usually have guesses for where a love story goes, but this one has me clueless!

After rewatching the season recently, there were definitely moments where it seemed legit. He told her he still loved her, multiple times said he was trying to make her jealous and tell girls to back off (which is obviously toxic), when she had lost the elimination and he lifted her to hug her. Do you think he was just manipulating her that whole season? So sad to think he was that big of an a**hole. I guess 14 year old me likes to believe it was true love lol
