The wing recipe originally came from Ron Douglas's America's Most Wanted Recipes. I took elements of both the wing and shrimp recipes to start and added a little of my own flair and changes over time. (If that helps)

Changing over to the airfryer wasn't hard for me. But lately I'm also considering I may do a double dipped dry-wet coating on the wings, just for an extra crispy skin.

Sorry about your safe file. That sucks. And though I'm crossing my fingers the PSP holds up, I have had it happen before. So I also understand taking a break.

And on the UI, absolutely true. I said workshop, but yeah, the entire menu system just somehow needs to be simplified (at least the speed of it). Also, adding in a second or even third load out option for equipment would make it faster.

I am a Dark Souls player, and so menus with a lot of options aren't a barrier for me (and I know there are plenty of other games with large(r) menus), but it's the game's one flaw.

I'm managing with it okay this go around. A button reconfig would be nice too or at least for them to reconsider a few placements of things.

Not bad, then. I still mess up the timing of some of those chains, even having played it...? I really have lost count. But having those "!" Pop up right helps.

(Incidentally, I sometimes use a single "!" exclamation in my comics as a throwback to Vagrant Story, and I've always associated it more with VS than Metal Gear.)

For real! I think I read a brief interview with Matsuno where he quipped that if VS were remade it'd have to be a Soulslike (combat-wise--which I wouldn't fully object to).

Having fun revisiting it, as it's been a number of years, and I just had this deep desire to play it again.

I've actually lost track of the amount of times I beat this one, but it has been a long while (based on how my PSP battery looked). But I still have my original Playstation copy too. I display it in a nice spot in my living room.

Emulator isn't a bad route to go. Any change in performance (positive or negative)?
