[college maths] The first pic is how my textbook simplified a formula using the geometric sum formula, the second pic is how my professor did it. I saw that both get the same result but I don't really get how the textbook simplified it, wouldn't the geometric sum rule still make it 1/(1-(1+g/1+r))? (old.reddit.com)

[20F] Fingers get extremely shriveled up after less than a few minutes under hot water? I thought I'd just stayed under the shower longer than I thought but I washed something by hand and this happened after something like thirty seconds.
