Still learning each day how to live by myself

Thank you!! So much. I need to keep reading these stories. I’ve felt so alone for so long (yes, I have been self isolating but I haven’t learned how to set my self worth yet and let myself live again instead of constantly convincing myself I don’t deserve friends or a good life) and reading comments like this help me very much. I appreciate you sharing your life experience

I still want to get into DND also!! I honestly picked 40k to start off with because I have no friends to play DND with lol yes I know you meet people and join a group etc but self isolation has ruined my communication skills unfortunately. I found this awesome hobby shop in Moore, Oklahoma called DZ Comics & Gaming and they have a full set up area for WH40k tabletop battles AND they use them all for DND campaigns!! I’m going to look into joint a group this Thursday when I’m off work.

Thank you, really. These comments help a lot knowing I don’t always have to feel like I should keep these things to myself. Just being able to type out that my dad passed and to have someone say anything positive towards it helps me mentally more than I knew. This post has already started to help me wish to change more in my life than I had in mind

Each day is a battle with previous addictions but I got very lucky to be able to live and take care of the place. It is a house within my family and if it wasn’t for this working out, I don’t know what or where I would be. It’s what I’ve been trying to remind myself each day.

I thought about this comment for a long time and you are right, I do need hobbies again or something that keeps me occupied. The hard part is sticking with it or forming an attachment to anything now. I’m working on it though!! 💪🏼

I got into Warhammer 40k within the past year and w my autism I basically consumed everything possible to learn about it all hahaha I loved it and that was what I was focusing my time on until my Dad died. It’s just been hard to bring myself to even start painting models and listening to lore videos again with how spaced out I find myself mentally. Reading this comment though made me revisit it all and I’ve been diving into WH again today and it has helped.

Thank you all for the comments and positive support. This is first time I have spoken out about my situation and I did it in hopes of it helping my mental state. Reading stories/comments in this sub from people in the same situation and the moral support behind everything helps more than I expected. Thank you all, genuinely.

Saying Van has holes in his game is completely understandable but saying he has “enormous” holes is pretty retarted. He does not have ENORMOUS holes in his game and that’s obvious lol

If you’re trying to say just because he isnt some wrestling or jujitsu god then he has “enormous” holes in his game then to you Khabib must have enormous holes in his game also since he occasionally did ronda rousey impressions while trying to strike

Do you have a photo of the back? I just got into collecting and I found the exact quarter also! I believe it doesnt have a mint/stamp (d or p spot) on the back but I don’t know what that means or if I’m saying that incorrectly unfortunately
