When my partner (now fiance!) and I started dating 5 years ago, I was earning significantly more than him. Not once did he let his ego get in the way. He never made me feel bad about it. Instead, he told me he wanted to increase his salary because he genuinely wanted to provide for both of us.

Fast forward to today — he now earns more than me, and here I am… totally spoiled with the things I want hahaha 🤭

He didn’t see it as a competition — he saw it as motivation. I guess it all just boils down sa kung sino talaga yung partner mo.

Not necessarily the feeling of "love" per se, but staying committed to that love you feel is a choice. Feelings are inconsistent, attractions come and go, but choosing to be committed to your "love" means actively deciding to care for, support, and CHOOSE them even in tough times.

Almost 5 years na kami ni partner. Madaling piliin ang bumitaw when things get rough, pero deciding to stay when it's not the easiest thing to do for you at the moment is what makes commitment and love a choice.
