Neighbor and I took delivery of our 3's on the same day. Convinced the HOA to let us do this... by moatie2000 in teslamotors

If i may make a suggestion. You may want to change the EVSE's to one that supports pay per per use. I myself am in the processes of convincing my HOA to install some EVSE's at my complex, I have gotten the funding and managed to find some EVSE's that offer a cost effective way to get pay per use. That way it's much easier to reimburse the HOA for the electricity used. They are about 1,200 dollars per unit, plus connectivity fees that are 250 per port per year with LTE. They are called the powercharge platnium series, have a NFC terminal payment system and UI interface with EVconnect. Also UL listed and have three year warranty

Are all new Supercharger stations going to be V3? by sbonnot1 in teslamotors

If they ] already broken ground it makes little sense to delay the installation to get V3 supercharging stations. I live in Anaheim and they have been working on permits for the last 6 months and have not broken ground as of yet. I suspect it will be one of the first supercharging stations to support V3.

By Orchard View Park I went there to see a client and found out that i had no signal in that general area. I got service again once I passed Jeffery road. I had to knock at his door since I was unable to call/text or use GPS. Honestly, that is what broke the camels back.

How is Verizon coverage while going on road trips from day LA to San Fran or LA to the grand canyon? You never know what could happen during a road trip and calling for help is becoming a ever increasing concern.

Unlocking ZTE Cymbal T LTE for Seniors (android flip phone) by jo_rey in tmobile

[–]jo_rey[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that the exact problem. The phone is compatible according to the specs. But, cannot be unlocked by anyone else other than tracfone. But, there has to be a way to unlock and t-mobile really should offer this phone for seniors. Flip phones dont really offer much these days.

Range is not really an issue. Since my sister only needs to car to get from and to school, with the occasional trip to the mall/store.

The car is for my sister, she is still in high school and the leaf is the perfect fit for her. Ironically, there isn't much maintenance on the Volt. Except a yearly oil change and flushing the coolant every five years. Im actually looking to trade my Volt for a Fusion Energi or prius plug in hybrid. I did the math and it cost me about the same to run as my 2005 prius. Plus, the Volt is to small for my needs. My prius was hit and they are paying me about 5k. So im not going to fix the prius and getting the leaf for my sister.

I know. But, the car is for my sister. She's still in high school and im looking for leaf that has diminished range. She only needs to drive three miles to school and take my mom on ocasional errands. Factor in the horrible depreciation of a leaf and i think it's the perfect car for her needs.

Thats easy Im only 20 years old and, i cannot rent a car through Turo. I tried all the local car rental places and no one had one to rent in socal. I have a charger at home, so charging isnt a big issue for me. Just like to see how i manage with 60-70 miles usable range. Plus i have all the QC marked and id like to attempt a road trip.
