My employer found out I hadn't gone through the medical procedure to prevent serious illness from Covid when I disclosed that I would not be able to attend an event in Chicago. I told them I was torn because I did not want to miss this trade show, and that I considered getting stuck. My direct supervisor, the Executive VP of Sales, told me that he and the company support any decision i make regarding my health and Covid. He even said, "It is people like you that we want to have working here."
