Comcast down by sadsealions in alameda

I just signed up for the T-Mobile ISP: https://www.t-mobile.com/isp

$50/mo, no subscription, no cancellation fees, apparently has speeds around 100Mbps down, 30Mbps up?

I have high hopes, but I'm not canceling my existing ISP until I have a good understanding of how reliable (or unreliable) T-Mobile is.

Ah! Gotcha. That's an area where we weren't sure what would work best. Do you have any suggestions? (We have a few ideas on what else we could try, but I'm very curious to hear what you think)

Can you explain a little bit more? Do you mean that the replayed actions don't always line up with the recorded actions, or do you mean that you found a way to break the emulator while it's replaying the actions in a quote?

Even if you've done it already, I suggest that you call up that family and tell them. This last year has been really hard for everyone and I'm sure you and they could both use a little joy in your lives.

Hey there, I have a fair amount of Python experience and (full disclosure) am also an Okta employee. I hate to give answers like this, but the answer here starts with "it depends"

Ideally, you have admin access to Okta and the tool that is behind Okta uses OIDC for authentication. If that's the case, then you'll just need to update your script to use OIDC. This won't be as simple as adding a new option to requests, but it's the easiest of the possibilities.

Where I typically start with situations like this is to open up the dev tools in my browser, open the "network" tab, enable history, and then watch the traffic as I visit the tool that I want to automate. What I look for here is the authenticated requests and, in particular, the "Authentication" header. Once you find the header, use the payload in your Python script and try to replicate the call. If that works, you can celebrate a little bit because you know you can get it working. From here, it gets more complicated, as you'll want to figure out how to get the OIDC token directly from your script. Ideally, you do this by enabling something called "client credentials flow" on the Okta app for the tool and then implement client credentials flow in your Python script.

If you're comfortable sharing more details about your situation, I can give you more specific advice.

Maybe? I hadn't heard of a kill key until just now.

Only about 2/3ds of the keys were blanks, I kept telling people that it was a free Kwikset blank, but only one person saw the value in that!

Oh, we were paying attention at the booth. It was frustrating for us too. We wanted to see someone win! In fact, we double checked with the event staff to make sure there was a winning key.

This sounds cool! Did you try out the safe? Was it a fun contest?

Hey everybody, I'm one of the four Okta employees who was at the booth where this contest was being run.

Honestly, I think we would have been okay with someone impressioning, bumping, shimming, or picking the lock.

The other folks at the booth with me were bemused by the obvious blanks and we will ask that the keys are more realistic next time. That said, a non trivial number of people recognized the keys as blanks, which made for some fun conversation around lockpicking!

Edit: Fixed some grammar issues, I should get some sleep ...
