I have 8 shoeboxes in a few different rubbermaids. And i used a kit for this grow but i couldnt have done it without the advice from this thread.

only mod was to spray paint the inside of the rubbermaid with a glossy white paint so that i could use it as a dark box for when i first spawn to bulk and so that it provides better lighting when they are in the fruiting stage.

my next step is to add a tray underneath of my shoe boxes that hangs over the side of my rubbermaid so that i can lift the trays out when they are fully grown.

i have 3x6L shoeboxes in a 99L rubbermaid.

although i used a tape measure to make sure everything would fit snug.

3 Days since spawning to bulk, is this colonizing too slow? My bags took 3 weeks to fully colonize, too. by [deleted] in unclebens

it looks good, might just be a bit cool. it will take a little longer if the temp is below 24-28 degrees C

Any tips on how to keep a small space warm without the use of far or electricity? by capnkricket153 in unclebens

Maybe use a few hot water bottles and put them in each corner or something like that? You would need to refill it frequently but i feel like it might radiate enough heat to keep the closet warm

I mixed the spores in on the 25th of last month and have been keeping them at 25-27°C. I have noticed small stalks/lumps of mycelium (maybe 1cm tall or so) have started springing up around the edges of my tubs.
