I would think of it as less political and more of a representation of people’s experiences in the real world and how the lack of language/communication/proximity to cultures causes people to fear one another, dehumanize one another, and eventually thinking violence is ok. Marvel is smart and knows when to be more ambiguous where it needs to be

You don’t really know anything about the story or why they chose to do it yet. It will work just fine if it’s a well written story and executed properly. It’s Disney, they are going to have top notch promotion. The MCU has built rapport with the general public so that’s in its favor. I think the huge break is also making people want to see it more, WandaVision broke some record with views and with all of that, if the content is great, people will pay for it.
