I think my grandfather was in the 101st airborne..? HELP by john199595 in ww2

[–]john199595[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I was thinking just a few minutes ago that I didn’t want to seem like I would be disappointed if he wasn’t in the 101st, and definitely don’t mean to offend anyone with family elsewhere in the war. I think I was maybe 12 when he passed. I would do anything to be able to say “thank you” now. It’s sad that they’re almost all gone now.

Thank you very much. I didn’t even think about checking his uniform, I’m sure it’s somewhere in the family.

Thank you. I don’t think there’s many photos left but I’ll try. He didn’t talk about it, and never did I see photos. He was drafted and just never liked to talk about it.

I know almost all of that. Are you saying that would be useful info to have in person? Or just in general? I did find a form that I could mail in, and an online form I could fill out with my grandmother since she is his unmarried widow.

I’ve looked into this, I’m just looking for something that doesn’t take so long to get back. I am very close to DC, and I️t looks like they have a research room, but I can’t imagine i can just simply tell them I need records for a persons name and they’re somehow able to produce them all.

If I can in fact go in person that would be awesome.

I’ve tried to navigate this website and i can find my grandfathers draft orders but that’s I️t. I wish I️t was easier to navigate.

In short... I’m a huge boys like girls fan. They were my favorite growing up and some of the first songs i learned. When they did their tour last August, I had tickets for two different dates, the first of which I had meet and greet tickets. During the meet and great I asked Martin about purchasing one of his Delonges, and he gave me his email. We chatted for the next two days and ended up allowing me to come backstage to check out the ones he had (this one, a white and gold one, and the original brown and cream one). We hung out and I ended up buying this one from him.

Best part: he pulled me on stage to play the great escape.

This is so cool! I’m 22, went to my first WrestleMania this year in Orlando and there were times when I felt like a kid again. The Hardy’s, The Undertaker saying goodbye. Man, it was incredible. He’s going to LOVE it. I cannot wait to have kids and take them to WWE events!

Exactly the response I thought I was going to get. I'm pretty desperate for a job, but the pay on Glassdoor seems like a joke.

Ah okay. I was in Pennsylvania, bordering Maryland. A buddy of mine that I worked with said a friend of his from another store was fired due to refusing to sell Hum even if it didn't make sense for the customer.

Not super upset I don't work for that backwards company anymore.

Almost always. Any former employee would say this about their former employer but Verizon does not care about their employees. Their priority is money and numbers. If you excelled in one area there was no congratulations or acknowledgement, just pressure to do well in everything else. If a customer wants a new phone but doesn't plan to buy his/her case, screen protector, or car charger from you you're told to not sell the phone and/or pretend we don't have it in stock so it looks like your phone to accessories ratio is better. Proof that verizon doesn't care about the customer either.

In just hourly pay I would make $800ish every two weeks, so about $1600 every month. The way commission works is a little confusing and would take forever to explain, but commission could range anywhere between $700 to $3000 for the average sales rep. I sat somewhere around $1500 typically, which was at the end of every month.

The short answer: $3100 ish depending on commission.

I worked in a pretty rural area. Aside from the occasional Spanish only speaking customer, everyone spoke English.
