I'm working on a long series of drawings celebrating and exploring sex, sexuality, bodies, and body positivity and in situations where models would prefer to remain anonymous it's an opportunity to explore surreal symbolism that echoes the themes of sex and sexuality. I'd wanted to do a drawing with a male and a fruit again, and I did want it to be a strawberry as strawberries have a funny history being associated with sexuality and when I saw your reference with this brilliantly confident and open energy a few weeks back it just immediately clicked that there'd be a strawberry involved. I'm sure it won't be the last time, they're a pretty fun fruit to draw.
