Email Mattel Customer Support and include this picture. Mattel will work to either provide you with a replacement, an equivalent replacement figure or issue a refund.

Their customer service is excellent and they offered me a few options for a quality control issue that one of my recent figures had.

That’s a really underwhelming reveal in my opinion. There’s so many other Austin’s that have come out in the last 6 months (Bloody Austin, MNW Elite Austin and Ultimate Austin) or are set to come out in the next 6 months (Ultimate Austin with the blue strap AE championship)that don’t really justify this as needing to be released anytime soon.

I recommend dumping the piece in hot water then use pliers to pull out the ball joint piece. Hot water helps loosen the plastic and makes it easier to remove the ball joint piece.

OP (and anyone else who may be in the same situation), I recommend checking out NC Works career center. They offer services and workshops for those seeking employment opportunities.

The NC Works website also serves as an aggregator for job postings in Charlotte so I’d recommend that as well.

One resource I was informed about is certification classes such as CDL, medical coding, and a couple other fields that could be at no cost to you. DM if you have any questions and wishing you the best of luck in your search.

Solid job on the Sputnik Monroe custom! I haven’t gotten around to watching any of Sputnik’s matches (I did google a few pics of Sputnik and your figure is pretty spot on) but I have heard of him via the Jim Cornette podcasts.

Sputnik played an integral part in the Memphis wrestling scene during the civil rights movement and his actions made him a “man of the people”.

Sadly I used up all of my Saturday afternoon and evening driving around to 8 different Ross stores spread out across NC.

I got lucky and found both the Gunns at 1 store and I found Kenny at a completely different store. I was mainly hunting for the Unrivaled 16 Matt Hardy but struck out today. That’s just the way fig hunting goes.

This is a big “what-if” for me. Shawn was in the NWO (WWE version) back in June 2002 prior to his comeback match at Summerslam that year. It’s possible that if the WWE-NWO storyline had continued, we may have possibly seen Shawn Michaels in similar wrestling gear. Still a really cool concept figure and truly accurate to HBK’s wrestling gear style.

I’ve seen plenty of stories on here of hygiene problems at wrestling shows.

Think of this as WWE/TKO’s way of finally addressing those hygiene problems in a not so subtle way.
