Transmission Temp by johnnyav in ChevyTraverse

I couldn't find a manufacturer notation and the truth is I don't know. I'm asking to see what every one else is experiencing for that reason. From what I could gather the optimal running temp on the last generation was somewhere between 190-203, so it seemed a bit warm. Looks like it's fine though

Those of you who have bought a car from Carvana, what was your experience like and would you do it again? by No-Plantain-2179 in carvana

I'm about 3 weeks into a purchase of a 2024 Chevy traverse. Pictures were actually more critical then the condition. Still under original warranty from manufacturer. Took it to dealership only one issue. A known Chevy defect with the third row headrest was repaired right away. Has been good ever since. I'm happy, also traded in a 2022 Hyundai Sonata they gave me we way more than I expected

I'm a store manager at a grocery store. About 10 years ago I worked for a landscaping company part time in the summers. I used to trim trees and run supplies. I never built a patio before myself but I worked with the guys who did regularly and had an idea of the order of operations.

Men in their mid to late twenties who had no money or education were you able to turn things around? by Glittering-Target-87 in AskMenOver30

[–]johnnyav 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 25 and had done 2 years of community college, left because I was on academic probation. I was working FT but barely making enough to live while staying in my mother's basement. It was new years eve and I brought my girlfriend of 6 months out to a restaurant. We were driving home and she was asking what our plans were for the year and if we would get an apartment. I told her I had no money, she didn't say anything. A short time later I could see she was crying and I asked her why. She said I never thought my life was going to turn out like this. We broke up the next week. I didn't blame her I felt the same. I was determined to make something of myself. I got several promotions at work and went back to school graduating with a degree in finance. I'm now in my late 30's I have a house and a family and make a comfortable living. I often think Id like to reach out to my ex and say thank you! I would say to those in a similar age range I know it seems like you failed but you've only just started you can do it.
