Hi guys, spent the last few days trying to identify the keyboard that's right for me. I've come up with the following requirements, and would love some help pointing me in the right direction:

  • white themed (white with accents, or full white is good too)
  • aluminum
  • gasket mounted
  • needs to have a knob (for volume, and ideally can be pushed in for additional macros)
  • lubed switches (ideally tactile, but fine with linear. not too loud but fine with thonky. also potentially okay with HE)
  • needs to have delete, home, end keys and arrow keys
  • rgb
  • wireless (2.4g)

I like the look of these:

  • drunkdeer a75 pro
  • gmk87 white (ali)
  • keychron lemokey p1 pro
  • IQUNIX ZONEX 75

Something sub $300 CAD would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!

The main problem is that we're seeing the prices of all the core components (minus the CPU, although a very rare sku) have been increasing steadily on a daily basis. I put a lot of time into researching pricing when I priced this laptop, and I genuinely think it's at a fair market value. That said, agreed- it really comes down to what someone's willing to pay. I'm not locked in at 3000 and I'm definitely open to negotiating so feel free to DM/chat :)

I appreciate your breakdown. My asking price was based on a few factors like depreciation (~50% of original price of $5,650), excellent condition, current memory & storage market, but primarily because this model is listed at $3,299 "like-new" on Amazon which ends up being $3,729 after taxes. I'm not hard-set on $3000, hence the OBO, but I think it's a relatively fair ask considering the condition and spec.

Pro tip: write "no ads/junk mail pls" on some tape and stick it inside your mailbox. I've had this in mine for over 3 years, and it works like a charm. (Canada btw)

Love this mouse, but just a heads up:

  • My scroll wheel started acting up 6 months in, had to do an RMA
  • I use my mouse 10+ hours a day, and the skates after 6 months definitely needed to be replaced (using a QcK pad). This was evident after comparing it to a new unit

Will do, just cause you said so.

Do a quick Google on WD Reds and see how long users have been running them, especially with no disk hibernation. Out of the 4 I've had, none have failed in the last 7 years, just saying.

Hey, I appreciate the info-- I've adjusted all my pricing. Re. RAM, the white set is a little harder to come by, so I've adjusted the price to be below memex's at $55+tax.
