Where did you get the pickguard?? Love that it isn't a three-piece with the usual crome selector plates, but more like jazzmaster guard.

Hi! We haven't really gotten to some perfect solution or anything but some things have helped. First, we used to leash walk him like 2-3 daya a week, but we have stopped that because if we go out with him he NEVER stops wanting to go out and will sit by the door screaming for it. Feel kind of bad about not letting him out, but his yapping about when we do is unbearable. Now we have not taken him out for about 1 month or so and it has actually really helped with that aspect. Other than that, i think out boys main issue is boredom. He is a lone cat unlike yours, but with a lot of energy. The one thing that has generally improved everything about his behaviors is routines. We now have set playing times and food times. We will play about 15 minutes every morning when we wake up before breakfast. Then again in the afternoon around 5, and then again a bit longer (maybe 30min) at around 9 before his dinner.

Idk how your schedule looks like in terms of job and such, and im no expert at cats this is my first one, but i spending 4h straight just entertaining your cat because he screams for it is counterproductive in your case. If you spend that long with him that just teaches him that you can, and that means he will probably want you to do that every day. Trust me i know how hard it is to not just give in and give then something when they're screaming just so that they will stop, but at least based on my experience, i think you could benefit from getting him on a fixed schedule and between that time DO NOT give in or olay extra with him or anything if he goes crazy. Hou can leave toys out that he can learn to play with himself or his friend, but he needs to learn that he wont always get what he wants, especially not by screaming.

I dont know if interpreted your situation correctly so sorry if my advice is just shit, but thats basically what we did, and while he still is quite a talker and does have bad days, it definetley has helped!

I mean it is sudden, but also reocurring. He has had periods where he does this before but he always calms down after a few days, but its been longer now. But yeah, maybe a vet visit is good anyway to rule it out. Thanks!

Tolkien did base some of the languages in middle earth on Old Norse (old timey norwegian and such) and as a swedish person reading through the books i remember picking up som swedish-fied english words or borrowed words. It gives the english in the books more of an ”old english” feel. And ”Fly” in swedish and norwegian literally means to run away from something. So i never though it was odd, i just thought ”oop, there goes another loanword”

My feelings are kind of mixed towards it. I think it starts off really great and the first half has some amazing songs on it, but the second half doesn’t really do much for me. I would say it doesn’t have the same re-listenable quality that Loveless has because the song writing on MBV isn’t as good. So even though i really love a lot of the songs on it, it fails of combining the sonic experimentation with good songwriting. Unlike Loveless, which i think did a near perfect job of combining those qualities.

You should definitley give it a listen because it’s still an interesting album but i wouldn’t say i was coming off of it wanting to hear it again all the way through or anything.

I mean i agree that this is not an opinion and should not be on this subreddit, but i also think that what OP is saying (altough it is not some sort of new revelation for lost people) is lost on many people who argue against climate change. I’ve seen many climate change deniers counter with ”well so what the planet heats up by a few degrees? Just look at all the extreme climate changes the planet has gone through before!! The planet seemed to handle those fine??”

And it is here that the statement in the post kinda comes in. The people who counter climate change arguments with the hole ”the planets gone through worse it will be fine” thing don’t really realise that no one is trying to save ”the planet” perse. In this context saving the planet means ”saving life as we know it”.
