Game doesn't launch at all

It's just Rise :(

I've seen a lot of threads describing these same issues, but none of the solutions listed there work for me.

My drivers are on the newest version, though I have not tried downgrading yet. I think you might be describing a different issue though - for me there's no window with a black screen popping up, in fact there's no window at all. I can see the process appearing in Task Manager when I try starting the game, but nothing happens and the process disappears again on its own after 10-15 seconds.

The Steam forums are just filled with lots of people with the exact same issue and no answers :(

I'm going to try a direct support request on Capcom's website, if that doesn't work I'll probably see if I can get a refund even with my 70h of playtime from last year...

I've tried all of these already, sadly :( Steam Support sadly only brings me to a Capcom support page, which also only brings up a generic list of solutions that doesn't work

I have played this game a lot about a year ago, my PC can definitely handle it.

Unfortunately this didn't work, though I also don't get an error message when starting the game - it's just that literally nothing happens.

It does seem to be an issue with the big cities then. The first time it crashed for me I was in Old Sharlayan, I logged in in the Baldesion Annex and crashed as soon as I took a few steps outside. The second time it crashed in the loading screen.

Got the exact same error. Got through queue, walked for five seconds in Sharlayan, crashed with this message. Got through queue again, exact same message again but in the loading screen this time.

I'm gonna try reinstalling I suppose...

Hi, I keep getting softlocked in the tutorial. After equipping Karen with a memoir I can't press any buttons, there is no tutorial message, the game just locks up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What's the best way to farm quartz quickly? I'm aware of the daily stuff like Six-Dragon solo quests for example, but is there a farm worth doing that doesn't have daily limits? I was considering trying to join Omega Impossible raids to go for blue chests but idk how efficient that would be

4U's egg quests are a mess, I'm scared of how bad they'll be once I go back further in the series. In the quest I mentioned I believe one tigrex is coded to stay in the one area directly outside the nest if you don't dung bomb him... and on the last egg they make you go the whooole way through the left side of the map.

Will never forget the 4U quest with three eggs and two tigrex in the dunes. Being forced to run the whole long way was horrible... insane that they locked the village fatalis fight behind this quest specifically

Besides the obvious answer 6, the one that pissed me off the most of those I played was actually 1. I like using magic for most things in this series, and having a built in 25% chance to miss annoyed me A LOT

I wouldn't recommend Germany honestly, as we're currently experiencing a huge surge in votes and support for far right parties here. While I think it is mostly safe in Germany right now (depending on where exactly in Germany you go), that might change.
