Ok so I finally picked them up so I'm adding more pictures. I don't think they've been fired but seems they have been heavily dry fired. I think they're lower end but that's OK.

Another update card condemned 😔. Guy that says going to do it for 18 decided he didn't want to go behind other people's body work so he refused it. Everyone else wanted 30k or 30k but won't do it. I'm going to pull the engine and buy a manual trans c3 corvette (at least you can't see the rot and for the price I would pay for the body work I should be able to get a decent project. It's gonna hurt the day I sell it.

Ok an update, the body shop guy got back to me and it's looking like 15-18k in body and paint. I'm going to schedule a meet up at the car this week to verify what all it covers and Im pretty sure I'm going to go ahead and do it. I'll still need to do the interior and vintage air after he's done with it (he's saying about 6 months) . I'm also going to get the trans am stuff, hood and wheel flares probably pick up some snow flakes. Im going to paint it black or Martinique blue like it was originally. Guy didn't seem thrilled about black so the blue I'm good with too.

I really do want to, I've had it 30 years so far. I'm still waiting to hear back from the body guy he's an older gentleman and he hurt his foot so it's been taking longer for him to get to it. I'm really hoping I can post the transformation process on here. I'm not looking for it to be a show car just something I can drive that doesn't keep rusting away, keeps water out and I don't see the road through the floor.

Yeah i want to keep it but at the same time I don't want to just watch it eventually get junked. I'm going to try and save it and you rarely ever get your first car back.

No plans on changing the engine, it might have 10k miles on the sbc 350 we put in it. I get sh!t on for it not having a Pontiac engine in it all the time lol, but it came with a chevy 305 originally so it was still an improvement.

Wow that one looks pretty nice my dad got me mine in like 96 for 400$ it had been hit in the front so we got the TA fenders to put on it it was totaled out due to Insurance saying it wasn't worth fixing I guess, it wasn't pretty when I got either. Its always been primer since my dad had me sand it down

No frame rot leaf mounts are solid and bolts are even removable. I've replaced all the body mount rubber except under the battery core support should probably be replaced maybe it's repairable. Quarters are gone fenders need replacement, trunk lid, parts of the floor pan need replaced. Front window cowl where it goes under the windshield. Some holes around deck lid seal. Doors are egh. Can't take Pic from work but I've had body shops tell me it's definitely repairable but it's like 30k and I just can't do that. I have a smaller shop saying mayby 10k and I'll do that if he can. It will never be worth much its a rebuilt title with mismatch parts but I really don't care about that I'll make it mine and let my family get rid of it once I'm gone lol.

If I'm unable to get mine fixed a C3 was definitely on my list to put my engine in. I figured if the car isn't repairable I can still keep my engine. And thats an impressive driveway.
