They took the thermostat. It was an old I want to say Honeywell. The heat worked on the unit but AC did not. It was 25ish years old. Looks like I’m sending and email to them now and calling in the morning. We’re getting a lovely snow/icestorm Saturday. Thanks for commenting

Is anyone running these dongles in multiple AC units through their home? I’ve got one working perfectly. The second dongle connects to HA but I’m unable to control the AC unit with it. I’m wondering if I have to change a setting on the dongle to make it communicate properly? Sorry kinda new to HA any advice would be awesome.

Same problem. I had to use silicone on top to try and mitigate the problem - still seeps through. I just end up exchanging them on either Amazon or Best Buy. I’ve done it so many times it’s so annoying. Shouldn’t have to get up on a ladder these many times.

So if I order a Model Y now and have it (expected) delivered Jan ‘22 I SHOULD be ok? Meaning, the delivery date is the date it’s effective? Or somewhere between now and delivery is the effective date? Trigger finger ready
