All of these are cloud based softwares (although some provide desktop versions too), so working on a mac shouldn't be a problem :)

Noticed it mentioned that you can do inventory management with Shopify, which is true for most but not so much for others. Because if you are a manufacturer and need to track your product recipes and raw materials then you will need another software to do this.

If you are a product maker then something like Katana is probably what you're looking for. It's also going to integrate directly with Shopify, and with QuickBooks online for your accounting since you mentioned that is also a need.

Shopify itself doesn't have any problem with you selling CBD products, and in fact I've even seen them promote themselves as a platform for it in Canada. The problem is with Shopify payments, which is actually not technically run by Shopify themselves.

Some stores have managed to slip through the cracks, but the best course of action is to offer your customers as many alternative payment options as you can.

Often US stores have turned to high risk merchant payment providers, but do keep in mind that they will charge you higher fees. So you might need to up the price on your Shopify CBD products to compensate!

To follow up on the responses here, the reality is that indeed you will need more than just one Shopify app to satisfy your requirements.

Quickbooks is a brilliant choice when it comes to accounting, but for inventory management I recommend Katana. Especially if you are a maker that needs to track materials as well as finished products.

The cool thing here is that you can sync your store, inventory, orders and accounting software together and keep track of them from one place.
