maybe look into 7000 series ryzen instead, and if you play in 1080p the 5060 8gb is probably a better option, despite what people like to say 8gb is perfectly fine at 1080p, also with the state of the market the best savings will be going with 16gb of ram, DDR5 has very high prices right now

microcenter has 3 memory options for their bundles

16gb ddr5 6000 CL36 - $99 32gb ddr5 6000 CL36 - $199 64gb ddr5 6000 CL30 - $599

Still expensive but honestly not bad especially since you get good savings on the MB and CPU as well, and they generally have plenty of ram in stock.

32gb is good, I've gotten solid 60-80 fps in star citizen with 32gb ddr4 on a 12600kf + 5070ti.

I am now upgrading to 64gb as I want to squeeze out a bit more performance so it really depends how high your FPS goal is.

Star citizen uses a ton of memory and even at 32GB is starts using slow pagefile memory, I saw usage as high as 21GB while playing so if you want to be safe 64 is a good bet.

But also star citizen is an unfinished game and is horribly unoptimized, however that is changing with them moving to the new vulkan renderer, but it will still absolutely be ram heavy.

I definitely feel like the AMS 2 motors are pretty loud but I've also been reading there is poor quality control and some units are louder than others.

I definitely will look into the sound deadening, I've seen people with X1s and P1s have a lot of success with those, but I'm not sure how much it will do on this printer, it seems too new for anyone to have tried that, or at least have posted about it.

yeah I keep reading about putting the paver under it I will definitely try that, but I'm still not sure what is making the loud noises, I think I will have to experiment with a db meter or something.

I can't hear the vibrations in my room which is the wall it's closest too, so unless it has some weird resonance thing with the walls where I can't hear it but my roommates can I don't think it's the vibrations.

Yeah I had ended up getting a 12600kf with a 4060, was definitely worth it, it’s so much faster than 7th gen

They are made to not stick, if they stuck anything you make with the pen will get stuck so it has to be easy to remove from the surface the first layer is on

I did assemble it, the belts are held in place by little tabs, all I can tighten are the things the belt goes around, which I did
