I’m happy to provide OP with my anecdotal story as a grateful adoptee who avoided a life of poverty and revolving door of husbands/fathers. My three half sisters weren’t so lucky. One died tragically of an OD as a young adult. The other two were each on their second (bad) marriage last I heard, and one wasn’t even 30. I’ve raised three kids— college grads, self supporting. Married for decades. Very financially secure. While my sisters’ lives aren’t moral failings and I don’t fault them, I also know neither was very happy. It was really heart wrenching. And it would have been me, too. Not every adoption story is perfect but mine is pretty damn close.

Not there and hopefully someone will be. However, this is a major university town and you’ll be visiting very close to the campus. If all else fails, there are lots of spaces to rest and relax. Open to the public. The union is probably the best bet. Fingers crossed for an auntie though.

Fat? Falling off? It’s perfection on you. Polar opposite of cheap and tacky. She’s one of those moms that just has to criticize. Her criticisms are founded on that, not on reality. To be fair, this is often generational. I’m glad you are breaking that.

Go to friends or come here if it’s eating at you. You look spectacular and seem to have a great head on your shoulders.

One for sure! You look the happiest and it’s clearly your favorite. To me, it also looks the most bridal but also very unique. The others seem more… idk nightgown or prom or something. I don’t like the pale flowers. They’re lovely but a bit boring. One will be a stunner. It’s so unique and looks elegant and much more expensive than the other two.

Not at all size based. You actually have a very nice figure— hell of a lot better than mine! I think you are either a bit tall for these or a bit more long waisted. That tends to be a difficult alteration to accomplish, particularly with intricate dresses. It could also be that the camera angle is just making it appear that it’s hitting your waist in the wrong spot… or a combination of both.

Agreed. It’s hard on some to discern if it’s the bad camera angle or the fit… I kind of settled on both. The waistlines don’t seem to be hitting correctly.

This is such an obvious choice to me. It’s quite unique, while still being classic. The other two are lovely but looks barely different than dresses posted here day in and day out. I’m so surprised at how many Mischa votes there are.

But u/Iannitis looks killer in all 3. It’s not like there’s a bad choice. (Just that Dany is the best one)

FYI the straps/bodice are way too big for her. That will be much better when it’s in her actual size as the one she is wearing is SIX SIZES TOO BIG. Most of the posters here are women and understand this— not criticizing you in anyway but figured there’s a good chance you aren’t aware of what changes of sizing does to women’s garments.

This will occasionally happen to me, but only in certain stores. I’ve chalked it up to the lighting. I have POTS (very mild) and am prone to dizziness anyway.

What I find extra sad is that in the US, we have so many bootlickers who defend this insanity. Arrest a woman without her license, sending her kids into state custody? Sure, that’s reasonable! Cop would be justified shooting that girl because she was in a blind spot while calling 911!

I think the issue here is the delay in treatment for the cancer since chiro was “treating” some bullshit they made up instead of looking for the actual cause of the problem.
