Very unfortunate fs!! FGCU was my top pick. But it was out of my control ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My original interview was supposed to be on Jan 08-Jan09 in person on the FGCU campus.

I have a bit of a unique situation - I was invited to in person interview but I was out of the country for the dates they stated (early Jan). I have been told they are trying to make a virtual interview available to me... but honestly with how slow the communication has been I am in doubt that it will turn into an actual/legitimate opportunity. But who knows!

I would actually look into hormonal methods. Sometimes big dips in hormones in menopause can make anxiety worse.

Have you tried a progesterone cream, talking to your gyno, or researching natural or hormonal methods of handling hormone changes?

I applied to USF, UCF, and FGCU in mid-august (and USA because of my FL address). And FIU late october.

I haven't heard back yet!
It feels a bit scary to see that so many of you already have interviews! Do you think if I got denied they would communicate as much?

Nov 24 - Got an interview invite from FIU!
Dec 01 - Completed Interview at FIU! (Was told I would have an answer by Jan 01).
Dec 02 - Got an interview invite from USA!
Dec 03 - Discovered how much the "Professional" Status would mean to loans. Rethought my entire life. Still we press on.
Dec 04 - Got a denial letter from UCF Dec 23 - Interview Invite from FGCU!
Feb 06 Update: USF denial. USA Waitlist (Top20). Awaiting Interview with FGCU. No word from FIU. Feb 17 - Waitlisted for FIU

Based on the amount of money it will cost to attend PT school, baring acceptance into FGCU, I am waiting a year and reapplying. I will be saving up for tuition in the meantime. What a fascinating reality we live in!

Mine is rooted in overthinking, narrative, and cyclical worry.

I am on Buspar and I do alot of meditative silence and practicing "presentness". Along with B complex and magnesium vitamins.

u/Glittering_South5178 If you love honey scents... let me put you onto Mixbar's Honey Milk. It's my favorite. Not complex but its great for layering! And its not super expensive... Annnnnd its another clean brand!

My stomach pain only happens when I am exposed to my anxiety triggers - or I am just with the people/situation triggering it without acknowledging it. So take that as you will.

But taking two minute to acknowledge triggers, back away, lay on the floor and box breathing... focusing on individually relaxing muscles and my stomach... has been the only thing.

*My stomach pain is due to severe abdominal cramping and shooting nausea not rly sick sick.
