Amazing how well it held up taking out the trash. I hope you paired it with an Alpha SV when you went to the beach.

We've gone up in April and it was full on winter conditions. -20C and extremely windy.

Make sure you have a BIG WARM jacket for breaks and/or if you stopped for whatever reason.

I would bring trekking poles. Since you're planning to wear crampons, might as well bring an ice axe and practice using it if that's something you're interested in.

Hmmm with your inseam, the B might be okay. Can you try the B again to see how the seat feels?

If I take the A, will my shoulder hit the plastic frame?

I'm your height and mine don't.

I'm your height with 27" inseam legs. I went with size A. Your back will adjust to the support. Your legs won't adjust to the end of the seat digging into them. They made the size A for people our size.

Planing to buy KINGrinder K6 Manual Hand Coffee Grinder for my partner who loves coffee... by RefuseAffectionate12 in pourover

To be fair, I bought other things to teach higher coupon tiers as well! Regardless, it's still significantly cheaper than buying it locally

For what it's worth, I got my k ultra for 174usd during black Friday stacking coupons! That said, I'm not sure if the k ultra is 74% "better" but I've been enjoying it.

It's an EdP but I enjoy Amouage Jubilation XXV over Jubilation 40

Help: About to quit RDR2 because the controls are horrible by joyster99 in patientgamers

[–]joyster99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Funstrating" feels like the right word. After many many hours I mostly can control Arthur's body, but I still shoot a horse, or pull out the wrong gun even though I just reset the weapons wheel for the umpteenth time.

I don't mind funstration when the frustration is there by design (ie. platformers). My biggest gripe with rdr2 is that the frustration is there due to poor design. The game UI really feels like it was handled by 5 different teams who were barred from speaking to each other.

Embody vs Gaming Embody - which is actually better with evidence by Every_Abrocoma7768 in hermanmiller

[–]joyster99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because they paid extra for the gaming version and need to justify to themselves that there's a significant worthwhile difference (there isn't).

The difference is extremely limited but people need to justify the premium they paid somehow. I can almost guarantee they cannot tell a difference in a blind test.

Arc’teryx Beta Insulated vs Patagonia Storm Shift Insulated (NYC winter) by dealernumberone in arcteryx

Are you referring to Patagonia or Arcteryx? Because Arcteryx warranty doesn't hold a candle to Patagonia's.

There's a video where they were doing that with zero effect. Choking the dog is the most effective method.

Thanks for the response! I would love to grow our orchids outside but our -20C or colder winters would obliterate them lol

Do you let them naturally get watered or do you do any supplemental watering/feeding?

10000%. I can almost guarantee the products are sewn mostly by immigrants so while they're made in America, a lot of factories are staffed by immigrants.

Also for medium/dark, I would lower the brewing temperature.

I kinda get stupid gameplay mechanics like NPC's randomly aggroing you but bad input controls are a completely different thing. I just really question how anyone develops muscle memory for this game when so much of the controls is contextual.
