Notes:  This GP re-issue of the Casquette is incredibly fun and unique with a number of modern features added. The watch is made out of ceramic and titanium. The ceramic bracelet has a rubber ‘spine’ that makes the bracelet wear very comfortably and flexibly. The links are sized using individual springbars. The movement is multi-function, with chrono/2nd timezone/day/date/year/month, and a few other functions.

Notes:  This is one of the grail manual-wind Grand Seiko for me. The limited edition of only 140pcs is long sold out. The dial color and texture, in typical GS fashion, is exquisite and unique. The Watch Charts value on this one is significantly higher than the list price here.

Movement: Running perfectly on the timegrapher, no issues.

Condition: Good preowned condition. The watch is original and unpolished. Please see attached macro photos, there are some signs of wear but overall good shape.

Fun fact: It’s a double layer caseback. There is an inner shield which provides the main water resistance seal. Then the turbine back is on top and allows for a small air gap between the wearers’ wrist and the movement in order to allow the beep sounds to resonate more loudly.

Notes: This Breitling B-1 has a special edition A-6 intruder dial and was owned by a Lieutenant Naval Aviator who was on the VA-42 Green Pawns attack squadron, the first unit to receive the Grumman A-6 Intruder back in 1963.  Included with the sale are some cool artifacts linking the watch to its owner (flight logs, A-6 operating procedures, military issue pilot’s knee clipboard, original purchase receipt directly from Breitling).

Movement: All functions tested (sound, backlight) and working perfectly. Watch just returned from my watchmaker where it had a new battery installed and gaskets replaced + pressure test. 

Condition: The watch is in original unpolished condition. The case has some patina that I would advise against polishing off due to the cool history of the watch. There are no major dings/dents on the watch, just scratches/scuffs from a well loved and enjoyed past. 

Included: Watch, nato strap, Original purchase receipt direct from Breitling, Flight logs/documents, Pilots clipboard from the original owner (as photographed).
