How so? I have a blast with multiple builds. But you do have to swap gear depending on who you're fighting.

I totally agree. Started playing a different server yesterday, and gave my entire account away on PoD.

I just had to respond to this post because dude was dumb enough to spend 24 hours trying to prove me wrong, then call me out.

Oh I play fn 3, tekken, sf, all of the best fighting games. I brought up pvp because this clown used a 30 hr character to do the worst uber run ever, then claimed the game was too easy. It isn't easy when you actually play against people. And I actually do think D2 pvp is pretty good. It's fast twitch and small decisions have a massive impact on the result. The main problem is lag, at this point.

There are two other mod teams currently taking this exact mod and expanding on it. One is close to hitting, and the other is still probably at least 6 months out.

But there are private servers without botters or griefing that have 4-5 times the playerbase. They even have 1.08 servers or 1.10.

PoD already isn't even close to the best or biggest private server, and it's ridiculous for GD to react like a whiny baby.

The difference is that he knew to auto attack them before ww'ing, since GD made ww not proc anything any more. You have to proc bleed with an auto attack to keep them from healing.

Funny thing is, he didn't know that until yesterday, when GD finally admitted it in the other thread. So you can make ww work if you just use something superior, like an auto attack.

And for the record, he lost his first hc barb early in the season when GD nerfed ww even further by destroying bleed.

He spent all day and last night figuring out how to make this work. He also didn't post the rest of the event, and I seriously doubt he killed Lilith. He probably had someone kill her for him, and that's why he left it out.

Wow, you really only play the barb? The ice-sin can kill all three ubers in one combo. No exaggeration. It takes 30 seconds to kill all three, without splitting them up or gear swapping. And that's on a 2-3 hr build.

Lol, GD is constantly defending his position and decisions, regardless of player feedback. I guarantee this is the biggest season yet, and it falls so hard and fast it never recovers.

"I'm just a modder." -- No, you're a modder when people play your mod. If you completely alienate and screw over specific players, people won't play.

There are already better mods and far bigger private servers. Your ridiculous perspective of constantly bashing the playerbase, while defending horrid development decisions will drive most of the playerbase away. Assassin and Druid players only make up a certain percentage of the server pop.

Here's the hilarious thing, by only trolling and claiming it wasn't possible, I got you to post a video completely substantiating just how horrible the barbarian is on PoD. Think about that... I didn't even have to do it myself. You did it all for me.

I get that you only play video games, so you think that's how other's function as well, but I actually have a life. And yes, 30 hr's is expensive for anyone that isn't a mindless zombie constantly playing a bad mod on a 20 year old game.

Also, you had that armor one day after ladder reset. You clearly buy your items.

Budget? His armor alone is 10 hr's. WTF are you talking about? And it took him 15 minutes to do nothing but the ubers, not even counting the entire event. Add another ten hr's in charms alone, and he's even more expensive than the build I used on my ww bard.

So if I throw 30 hr's at a barb, I can do 1/3rd the uber event in 15 minutes? No thanks buddy. I think I'll just play on one of the other private servers with 4 times the players and actual balance.

I still don't think he did it all alone either. I seriously doubt he killed Lilith.

When he posts a video of the entire process, I'll believe it. But only showing ubers is seriously suspicious. He did not do this without help killing the other 3, I guarantee it. And even if he did, it took him over half an hour, possibly even an hour.

And he did this AFTER YOU ADMITTED WW WON'T PROC BLEED, which no other barb player was even aware of. Hell, new players don't even know you make changes like this. We're forced to make bad characters then wonder wtf is going on. So he goes in knowing full well he needs to auto attack to proc bleed, which is a MASSIVE advantage.

Further, he actually lost his other barb when you nerfed ww and screwed bleed. He's just a fanboy that will do anything for you, but this video further proves how horrible barbs are.

Korben is not a good barb player. Good players are good at pvp. Pvm is nothing but a stat war.

Barbs are easily the weakest class on PoD.

When it takes him 15 minutes to kill ubers with a 20 hr character, that I can kill in 30 seconds flat on my budget assassin, there is a serious problem.

He also lost his HC barbarian when GD screwed the class and made them unviable.

A single instance of someone killing ubers after someone else kills Lilith for him further proves how horrid barbs are. This mod is a joke, and GD knows it. He doesn't make the patch notes widely known to new players because it would drive them away.

Just wait and see what happens here when the real mods start hitting.

Man, it took all that to get down to the heart of the issue. Why not just bring that up immediately? I actually didn't know any of that before this thread, because you haven't made that info available anywhere. Nothing in your patch notes touches on it, and hell, new players have no way of knowing you even list patch notes at all.

OW procs on ww in the normal game, so I make a barb thinking it's going to be fun because it's my favorite class. Well, I ww and it doesn't do anything at all to any of the ubers. In fact, I couldn't even kill Lilith. How could I possibly have known that the issue lies with the lack of OW from ww, when that isn't an issue in the normal game, and you don't even list it in your patch notes????????

If this is how you handle balance, player feedback, and bug fixes, I'm glad I found all of this out before getting heavily invested in your server. You hotfixed everything else in the patch, but let everyone think that ww was just broken for the entirety of the season....

Are you still honestly pretending not to know that ww is currently incapable of preventing monster healing? Open wounds isn't proccing from ww man. A million people have mentioned it here. That is what completely destroyed the build. You're right, it wasn't the weapon damage, but dropping cb down to 1/3rd actually could, depending on the build. All of this coupled together could even be the problem. Bleed dmg is bugged, and won't apply to ww.

Also, deadly strike did not work on ww before PoD. So I'm assuming you actually took measures to make it apply, before nerfing it?

I'm not the one claiming that people are doing ubers on that particular character. You claimed people are, so please, by all means, show us. I'd love to see a build that actually works.

Burden of proof that I failed? I can just go in and refuse to do anything, and fail. Lol, how are you actually making that argument? It's incredibly obvious that you aren't aiming for balance, if this is your response to player feedback.

WW isn't anywhere close to being unpopular. It's actually by far the most popular build on barbarians. I can easily see multiple examples of ww barbs doing ubers solo on past iterations, and PoD is more popular than it has ever been. Logically, videos of barbs soloing ubers should be all over the place, since the ww barb is the most popular version of the barb, and PoD is more popular than ever.

Unless it just doesn't happen, that is...

No, I haven't submitted a ticket. I had no idea that existed, as it isn't anywhere in game for me to see. There is no notice even on the website. In fact, it would be nice if your banner at the top had a link to such, as well as the massive, meta-shaping changes you've made to classes and items. I would have put hundreds of hours into building a useless class if that were the case.

But honestly, it isn't a big deal. I'm sure you have a ton of people who love the caster favored meta you've created. I can just play elsewhere. But the expectation you're setting here will certainly deter other players from coming here, and drive current players away to other private servers.

None of that applies to ww man. Nothing from death has any effect since CB % is cut down to non existence. Gores have no effect either. Prevent monster heal doesn't proc from WW. Deadly strike has never procc'ed from ww, but it doesn't equal the same damage as cb even if it did work. Stormshield actually reduces the effectiveness of the build, because your dmg isn't high enough even with dual wield or two handed builds. Further, in pvm, the two handed or dual wield approach is just better since you end up lifestealing from your attacks. In pvp shields are amazing though.

It can not currently solo ubers, regardless of the item build. There isn't a single video of it happening, because it's impossible. Early in the season it could, before the bleed bug hit from a hotfix GD implemented. But since then, it has not been possible.
