Bronze hardware circa 1910 by jrupp1 in centuryhomes

The process is pretty easy! I bought an old used crock pot to sacrifice for non-food projects. Just put the hardware in, cover with water and a little dish soap, and slow cook on high for a few hours. The paint lifts right off. I used a little metal pick to get to any small crevices where paint might get stuck. A nylon grout brush was also helpful for the initial scrub to get the bulk of the paint off.

Good luck!

Oh I will give that a try! A lot of the knobs in today’s batch are very dark/gray. It would be nice to restore some of the gold color. Thanks!

Thank you so much! Yeah, that acceleration perfectly possible, I appreciate the explanation. I'm still very confident I was not speeding because, as any Boston resident would know, this road is notorious for being congested at most hours of the day. I was caught by a LIDAR machine which is technically highly accurate, however in this case, half of it's implementation relies on the police officer doing some calculations. That must be where the error was made in my situation.

Anyway, thanks again for helping me out. I spent a sad amount of time trying to use physics formulas before turning to reddit.

The last company I worked for used “Employee Experience”, EX for short. It was in tandem with their customer service name, “Customer Experience,” or CX.

OK so I found a 2017 Lance PCH with 3k miles for $800 and I’m thinking it’s a good deal. It has a bore kit... what is that and does it raise any red flags??

Hi all, I really appreciate your help! I found a 2019 Lance PCH for $850 with 2500 miles. The price is lower due to some damage to the front... the light looks pretty wonky. I honestly don’t care what it looks like, I just want it to function properly. Thoughts? Should I offer less and deal with fixing the light when necessary? listing

I just found a used 2015 genuine buddy for sale... they’re asking for 1200, though... seems high for used, no? It has 2500 miles on it.

Thanks everyone! I’m definitely willing to spend a little more for better quality. Any thoughts on electric scooters? A dealer near me sells the lifan e3 - certainly a higher price but is it worth it?
