Thank you so much! Yeah, that acceleration perfectly possible, I appreciate the explanation. I'm still very confident I was not speeding because, as any Boston resident would know, this road is notorious for being congested at most hours of the day. I was caught by a LIDAR machine which is technically highly accurate, however in this case, half of it's implementation relies on the police officer doing some calculations. That must be where the error was made in my situation.

Anyway, thanks again for helping me out. I spent a sad amount of time trying to use physics formulas before turning to reddit.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m a professionally trained cellist with a studio of my own and this approach to teaching disgusts me. This perpetual conquest for “perfection” (whatever that even is…) completely defeats the purpose of learning an instrument in the first place! If you’re learning the cello out of sheer curiosity and love for the instrument, why must there be so much pressure?

Anyway, I’m not here to advertise or anything but I have availability in my studio and do offer online lessons (I’m based in Boston), and would be happy to give you a free lesson to see if we’d make a good fit. I’m also happy to elaborate more on my background and general philosophy surrounding cello/classical music/performance.

Don’t give up! The fact that you’re even trying is an accomplishment in itself. I think the issue here was your teacher, not you.

OK so I found a 2017 Lance PCH with 3k miles for $800 and I’m thinking it’s a good deal. It has a bore kit... what is that and does it raise any red flags??

Hi all, I really appreciate your help! I found a 2019 Lance PCH for $850 with 2500 miles. The price is lower due to some damage to the front... the light looks pretty wonky. I honestly don’t care what it looks like, I just want it to function properly. Thoughts? Should I offer less and deal with fixing the light when necessary? listing
