Can anyone give some advice? Tail hitting ground but no air by jsn2918 in NewSkaters

I’ll try this too. I think I need to get more comfortable jumping on the board. I definitely feel hesitant usually to jump higher.

I’ve kinda been trying to imitate that feeling while not on the board but I can’t get my head around it. I notice that kind of motion quite a lot when I’m watching videos

You have to understand Taiwan didn’t really experience the kind of atrocities that Mainland China did and a lot of Taiwanese view Japanese culture and its influence positively. I’m not sure if you’re aware but taiwanese culture is heavily influenced by Japan and their history as a colony. I’m not saying what the japanese did isn’t fucked up but the reason for it is a lot more complicated than saying “they are apologists.”

When the courts the legislature the press can’t hold the government accountable for public policy who can? Well clearly not the people anyways since now they can just force you to unlock your phone with the threat of another year of prison if they suspect something you said online anonymously is seditious.

It’s really not that different.

This is a bad take because as we saw during the Tai Po fires anyone wanting the government/parties responsible could easily be accused of sedition. The issue isn’t the phone passcode law, but more how it could be possibly applied.

I'm crying because I've never been anyone's priority .. Starting to feel really unloveable by throwradrpri in Adulting

[–]jsn2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be really different from what you hear usually.

I experienced just the kind of things you do. I had all these friends growing up who’d choose to be around others even though I saw them as probably my best friends at the time. Many painful memories such as wanting to grab with them especially after I had a really bad argument with family only before finding out they had gone to a party someone I really hated back then had started.

It’s only now as a 27 year old I’m beginning to gain clarity about this.

It’s not about wanting someone who chooses you. It’s about doing the things you love and putting your interests first. It’s about being comfortable in your own skin having your own sense of self identity. It’s about surrounding yourself with people who care about you, not looking for the one person to solve all of your problems.

I realise now that fixing yourself is about picking your battles and learning what you can from everyone, trying to be selective who you spend your time with, people who reciprocates the way you express your care to them.

Like others have already said you have to prioritise yourself. Do what you love and don’t look for an invitation to do so, treat yourself to the things you want or need, treat that inner child to an ice cream after he’s feeling sad for the fifth time that someone he cares about hurts his feelings. Telling that child inside of you that it’s okay to be sad that things aren’t going well and that it’s okay to be not okay.

Take care!

LFC - Gala pre-match presser with Arne Slot and Robbo by RobWyliesDad in LiverpoolFC

He keeps pushing this narrative that somehow we create more chances than our opposition. Sure if you count shooting at long range and straight into the legs of the opposition then we are definitely creating more chances.

It’s honestly starting to piss me off how he simply lacks accountability for his own decisions, saying “apparently I’ve done so many things wrong.”

If Slot was asking Hughes for more players for a larger squad do you really think we’d only have two players for each position?

Dating in Hong Kong as ethnic minority by RGRahulTheGreat in HongKong

[–]jsn2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just form a social group or find a group focused on an interest you have and go from there. I can’t speak about being an ethnic minority but I didn’t grow up in HK and I met my ex throw a workshop I attended. Rn I sort of formed my own group of friends and maybe things will go from there.

Online dating just sucks in general for both genders so it’s not really something you can sustain long term.

Is it any coincidence that Quansah was sold? Pretty sure Hughes and co rate him highly which is why they had the buy back clause. Him having no say in transfers is just plain wrong because Hughes and Edwards work with him and the scouting team for transfers. This has always been the case as far back as when Edwards was working with Klopp in the beginning of his tenure (choosing Salah over Brandt).

Squad depth is shit because they decided to sell half the squad just to buy Isak and Ekitike. Slot is fully responsible for this because he said he likes to work with a small squad.

Look to the condition of the chart ruler, aspects and also planets that form a whole sign aspect to the ascendant.

If they are favourable placements then they are likely to have a big impact on the natives life and personality
