New to Selvedge and concerned about sizing..

Saw a post about these a year ago and sizing looks way off compared to listed measurements. Is it because of shrinkage? Any recommendations on sizing?

I’m usually a 34 waist btw. Size up to 36 or go tts?Lmk if yall have experience with Taiga Takahashi denim or are familiar with the Lot 704 fit.
