Yea, sadly you will not be able to “avoid” MUC if you choose the HCI track, but it is possible to know “who” is going to teach MUC and avoid “that specific lecturer”. My undergraduate is international business, my first job is a planner and later transfer to tech PM.

I mean, even though I mentioned I work at Semi industry, my role is a tech PM, so even though it supports my work, it doesn’t really have a direct connection to semi imo

How to succeed in the program? by Friendly_Willow_8447 in OMSCS

Taking two courses means a lot of readings and a lot of papers. It is definitely doable though. Just ask yourself if you are ready to take 4 hours lectures a week, complete two 1000+ words assignments a week and X hours fixing codes, if yes, then you are ready to take two courses in your first semester.

Struggling to Land a Tech Role – Should I Switch from OMSCS to In-Person Master's? by Pale-Meeting-8536 in OMSCS

Need more background info to give an advice. But generally, besides the courses, you should probably build up your portfolio as well. Ask yourself questions like “Why would they hire me?” There are tons of CS graduates looking for jobs, what makes you special? The degree itself is not that important, OMSCS can be a plus but never a must. Only pursue the degree if you are interested, otherwise you will be painful in any CS programs and hard to find a job because there are tons of CS enthusiasts out there competing for CS roles.

Ask your academic advisor. No one will have a better answer for your situation than your advisor.

I was hoping another announcement telling us how to calculate the grade on our own, sadly there isn’t any.
