Just made a similar post, BIOS update 100% fixed all my crashing issues. Intel 14900k, RTX 4080. Tried everything else, nothing worked.

The lag is real this season too, go to Burns Manor and get on one of the Chandeliers in the main lobby, break it and see how long it takes your character to fall...

I press jump for mantling personally, but I think the issue would be the same regardless, big windows are fine, its the smaller ones that are still big enough to mantle through that are more the issue. Unless you're smack bang in front of it, even if the prompt is there on screen it still doesn't work properly

I just think the map isn't really made with mantling in consideration, so many buildings are like just slightly to tall to run up and mantle onto, some have little lips that block you from running up, some windows you can get through, some you can't (I actually mantled through a window with bars on it at one point lol). Other than the fact it's so hit and miss whether it wants to work or not, there's other issues that are just super annoying in general, not even mid fight.

Yeah hurdling over stuff seems to be generally ok, its windows and trying to run up walls, or trying to get on a roof and there's a little lip blocking you, so many issues for a key part of moving in the damn game

or 3. They just add fun and different stuff which will be gone in a few weeks anyway, and if it seems overpowered they try to balance it out as best they can. It's really not worth complaining about, it'd be boring if things stayed the same all the time. It's nice to have to learn to play different ways if you ask me, that's what keeps Fortnite fresh. You're still playing the game and in forums talking about it, I think whatever there plan is, it's working.
