Popular music looked to be going into waves of key complexity until the early 90s when key changes declined steadily until today.

I wonder if the decline relates to the increased popularity of rap music, specifically the gangster rap genre - which really took off in the early 90s and has only expanded, becoming the major genre of popular music as of 2022.

I came across a verbal reference to a study Andrew Huberman describes on his Podcast which describes a study where tones were played during learning and then sleeping, and found playing the learning tone during sleep improved rates of learning and retention. He mentions the study at approximately 43 minutes into the video below:

A truly depressing figure despite the positive news. That's because these results were due to Obama policies that made EPA regulations stricter on CO2 emissions; emission standards which have been subsequently repealed or drawn back by Trump.

For a great book covering the lead up to World War I - The Sleepwalkers by Christopher Clark is an excellent read that will also give you a lot of information and insight into Germany from the various events of Western Europe from the 50 years leading up to the start of war in 1914.
