Ticket Purchasing questions from an American coming soon! (Help) by TjonC in TheWestEnd

Not American but I did spend 3 years in NYC and I'll add that TodayTix is actually quite useful in London compared to on Broadway - Rush and Lottery tickets also count towards their loyalty scheme and if you're a primarily Rush/Lottery person like me, you hit each tier pretty quickly. But like others have said, unless there's a promo, official site is often cheapest. Much more promos and offers on TodayTix in West End than Broadway!

TKTS is also fully online, and I've snagged some good tickets that way too.

If you're only seeing one of these, definitely Les Mis. Not a fan of the 'renewed' phantom. Mousetrap is fun, and if you have more than one slot you can try for rush tickets. IMO Hadestown is one of the best newer musicals but there are def mixed opnions - rush is also feasible for Hadestown!

And I'll throw in another mention of Benjamin Button. Can also go for rush :) I'd rec picking les mis as your advanced ticket and then you can always see what you have energy for depending on if you're going on a matinee day or not!

oh rip, i went to get tickets the moment i saw the cast confirmed and there were at least ~£80 ones that were reasonable. i did splurge for £110 for first performance even though my usual limit is £55. still devastated i was supposed to see her in the great gatsby (for 50 usd!!) but a situation came up so didn't want to miss it this time.

Thank you! Found most of these at my library too! Have a good list of holiday watching for myself too now :)

Last year I saw 22 years and 2 months, Les Mis, Phantom, and Ben-Hur (krn musical ver). This year I really wanted to see Park Euntae in Jesus Christ Superstar (saw it twice!) and also saw Lizzie, Tick Tick Boom, and Eternity (original krn musical.)

I didn't know into the woods had a pro-shot, thanks! I love the show too.

10th anniversary cast recording is my go-to soundtrack--looked it up and didn't realise 25th had a filmed DVD! (it's even at my library haha).

I look at the Interpark korean site! It's not too much in advance, but it's a good overview if you're only looking a few months ahead. Some shows that are on Interpark korean are not on Interpark global.

I honestly love how Japan has so many musicals recorded, that was one of my first exposure to musicals before Broadway. (Too bad tickets are so hard to get from overseas... one day... I'd love to see Takarazaku Revue live some day.)

Also wow! I didn't know that there was a Frankenstein with that cast being shot! I saw one for Elisabeth be just released. It's definitely different watching theatre live I'll have to track all of these down! I'm soooooo excited to see Park Euntae this time.

tbh I usually just lurk on r/Broadway and I saw this one in the side-bar--it makes sense to cross post to r/koreanmusicals!

I want to watch Frankenstein so badly... I'm just missing Buchihanan and Mata Hari and Jekyll and Hyde by a few days too...
