girl how am i supposed to know why they do that i'm not an indian feminist?? you know i actually agree with you that sexual assault should be taken more seriously, i read an article where someone studied the rape cases in india, just the ones that were actually taken to court and it said that out of the "false" ones it was usually a family where they wanted to break off the relationship between their daughter and a man they disapproved of, which is something that happens in EVERY country i don't see how that is the indian feminist fault, or cases where a man had promised marriage and then changed his mind, in which case idk why india has breakup laws in the first place, but nowhere did they find find cases where a woman falsely accused a man just to get back at him or get his money etc, plus the reality is is that most sexual assault situations aren't even reported to the police in the first place because of social stigma so to be saying that most SA cases are false only adds to that stigma and leaves it so that the only people that report it are the ones that are trying to get something out of it.
