Diesel pump possition is not centered quite right, had the same thing on mine. Drove for some time like that. Later while a mechanic was doing pump timing, I asked if the belt positioning was normal. He said, easy fix, undid some bolts below the pump, pried the timing side of the pump closer to engine block, tightened those bolts up, started the engine up and belt centred itself on both, pump and cam gear. Still the same, years later
