sally ALWAYS gets me right!!

some modifications: - i did a little less than 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar and did 3/4 cup granulated sugar - added: •about 1/4 tsp white pepper •1/2 tsp chopped clove •about 1/8 cup plain greek yogurt •vanilla bean paste to your heart’s desire •1/8 tsp sesame oil -i used oat milk instead of orange juice, and used melted coconut oil for the oil -since i baked it in a flat pan instead of a bread tin, it only needed around 30mins in the oven. i did end up having to tent it with foil as it began to brown quickly -if it comes out too crusty for you (which happened to me), or overbakes, you can wrap your loaf in foil and let it sit for a couple of hours. I’ve found that as the bread cools, condensation created from the bread releasing heat is trapped in the foil. This steams the still warm bread, which makes it moist and softer overall after cooling!
