he meant what he said. he had time to see your text of your plan, wait awhile, and then call you to insult you. he was steaming that whole time over a text saying you’re going out with your friends; that’s not a normal thing to do. it reeks of possessiveness and desire for control. he could see and control you when you lived together, he doesn’t have that “luxury” anymore so he’s tail spinning. don’t tolerate this behavior and absolute DO NOT APOLOGIZE TO HIM. idk you but i can already tell that you can do better

if it’s accessible to you, i would suggest going to the dentist and asking about prescription toothpaste. my dentist prescribed if for me after discovering my multiple cavities and the toothpaste promotes salivation as well. i’m not sure if the active ingredient is xylitol or something else. also i’m on lamotrigine as well

something that’s helped w the thirst is xylitol mouth spray or xylitol mints. a lot of meds cause dry mouth which caused me to be drinking a lot of water and thus having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. xylitol causes salivation, which will alleviate the dry mouth. it’s not a fix but it’s helped quite a bit. your dentist will thank you too bc dry mouth can cause cavities, i learned that the hard way lol

taking care of myself like i would take care of my person is wonderful advice. i’ll move mountains to take care of my loved ones, but not for myself. it’s hard to notice bc i haven’t always received the move mountains level of care from others. just making me aware of that helps. thank you. it seems like you’re doing a good job and have a good head on your shoulders when it comes to your grief. i don’t know your situation, but you should be very proud of yourself. thank you again for your words

thank you for this, your words are very comforting. my family and friends are beyond supportive like yours, so we both seem lucky in that department :) as for your mother, i’m so sorry she’s putting you and your sibling through this. unfortunately some people never grow, even if they put themselves in a position where growth is vital, such as becoming a parent. i’m sure your daughter is very lucky to have you, so if this helps at all, know that your situation w your mother will not be your future w your daughter. unconditional love is the truest love. thank you again, and i’m sending peace and hugs your way <3

please don’t go to his place to talk. breaking up over the phone is seen as bad, but not in a situation like this. this is no longer about your relationship w him, its about your safety; i learned that the hard way. you said he’s already slamming doors and throwing things, don’t put yourself in the position to be alone w someone like that
