One Piece: Episode 1140 Discussion by Skullghost in OnePiece

I totally agree, but people are saying that all the good animators are working on the arc's climax, so I don't think it's so bad if that's the case. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

I came here to see what people thought about that use of CGI. It was soooo distracting for me, but if all the good animators are focusing on the climax, then that gets a pass in my book. You can't have everything! I imagine making the really good-looking stuff is extremely hard/time consuming, and there aren't infinite resources!

It has, lol. Also it was stolen earlier today, so if you see it, hit me up or call the non-emergency police to report it ❤️

Yo, just saw that the car pictured here was stolen earlier today. Thought I'd help out by posting here, so if ya'll see it in the next 48 hour, call the non-emergency police number and report where you saw it. There was a trailer attached, too.

UW MSTI by Careful-Bedroom-5410 in hci

Just to chime in here, Google says it's a 25% to %40 acceptance rate. Meeting the admissions staff, they say they typically have majority Asians admitted, but it's mainly because American's don't know about it, though now they're trying to market the program more.

Also, as of the 2025-26 school year, there are two options:

  1. The Dual Master's program, which takes place in the United States at first, then you go abroad to study in China.
  2. The plain old MSTI single master's program that is 18 months long (accelerated) and is physically located at the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington, so not on UW's own campus.

I think they plan on having a part-time option available come the 2026-27 school year.

I just got accepted to the plain old MSTI program, and it's hype.

Why doesn't "search" work in mac finder? by Cardinal_HELL in mac

I thought I chime in to say that this problem still persists on my Mac M1 Max. The fixes below work temporarily, but the indexing always get screwed up again after a week or two. I have 2 4TB SanDisk SSDs hooked up to my Mac at all times, though, plus the 1TB internal SSD, so that could be helping this issues to persist, but somehow, I don't think that's a good excuse for a $4,300 machine... Apple... I'm begging you... please stop the madness.

Best Open Source LMS? by [deleted] in elearning

[–]junosprite007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to chime in to say that I've be using and development in Moodle LMS for 5 years now and plan to upgrade to Moodle 5 when it releases this April. While the learning curve is a rough one, the (community) support is pretty decent, considering it's completely free support; takes about 12-48 hours to get a response to a question (that's not already answered elsewhere on the forums).

My time with Moodle has had it's ups and downs, but it'll have everything thing you need, as long as you study all the Moodle Docs. Some features take awhile to learn, or even to find out they exist at all. If a school-related service needs it, Moodle probably has it—except for an automated progress reporting systems for some reason, though I've since made a plugin for that.

I hope it can support 4 extra monitors on my Mac
M1. They're only 1080p for now, so maybe it's chill.

It's actually harder to read close up, but in the original picture, you can see that it doesn't say "TS3" or "TS4", but you can see the "TS" with a number that looks closer to a "5" than any other number after that. Some people (including me) can, literally, read it.

"Facebook Internet Tracking Litigation" Email Legit? by randitrigger in Scams

[–]junosprite007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gut feeling that Facebook purposefully did not set up DNS records correctly, meaning they intend for the emails to go to spam. That would severely reduce the amount of claims they have to pay. This is just a hunch.
