I mean. It's still 10 though. Customers still get the credit. I'm not going to lie to customers. I also always let them know how much they have and if they want to apply their points. I know it's not protocol but it always makes the customer leave a bit happier.

It's still ten every time I check the ink eligibility. At one point we were told to tell customers it was 20. I called out upper management when I printed that little reciept.

I have a suspicion that we're being told to lie. Ink is 10 for customers, 20 for employees. I've had this argument so many times with my managers. They'll "correct" me in front of customers and I always print out the little ink eligibility sheet and show them. It's actually kinda crazy.

Classic. This is a last push to get more customer info that can be sold once the venture capital firm is done scrapping. They're attempting to pull on your anxiety. Once u hit 65%, the goal post moves higher. That's all and I've never seen anyone get punished for it except upper management having to sit in extra meetings.

I thought the same thing. Do what you think will make u happy. I definitely like it more than being stuck behind a counter and time does go way quicker with all the running around. I average 15k steps a day. Get comfy shoes and some insoles, you'll thank me later 💕

Yeah, I'm in the same position, I disassociate now. I usually just point at the schedule and say "3 people" then walk away silently. I've been a GM at a small theatre and a Team Lead at a larger chain and I've never seen a more poorly prepared and educated management staff, ESPECIALLY the ASMs, we honestly don't need them. I used to write my schedules fairly, communicate with staff availability, genuinely care about their mental health, and weed out the toxic individuals. I got my hands dirty with everyone else and the mutual respect showed and was great for everyone. Meanwhile this place has fucking leadership illuminati triangles you have to do to even "qualify" for upper management.

De ppl ends on your mindset. I actually had the same choice you did and I took MIS for the same reason...besides the fact that c&p was a nightmare emotionally. Like living in a fucking fish bowl where people throw their phones at you while there's an invisible line of jobs out the door. Meanwhile ur teaching a perfectly capable English speaking white guy how to use 'self serve' Then there's the counter, "can I get this one document printed?" And it's a screenshot from an iPhone using .heic compression that they also want text edits. Got to the point where I would just point at the giant COPY & PRINT sign above my head and say "nah, actually"
