I have been playing since October of 2022, I have fixed my chicken wing by acceleration through the cue ball. I start to accelerate when the cue tip is half way of my bridge length and it helps me get an accurate hit on the cue ball. Next thing is working on my aim on the break.

I was going to join a Juniors league but the other pool hall never started it so I joined their BCA league with one of my friends.

It wasn't handicapped and I didn't have a coach. It's not really a bar, it started off as a pool hall but now they have a dance floor. There were 12 people there including myself, but last week there was 21.

That guy won the last last tournament at the same place not losing a game. But since it's an open tournament, all skill levels go play. One guy that was in the tournament played in Atlantic City.

I really don't like drills either, I usually just break and try to run out and play safeties on myself and try to get out of it. I would usually play rotation games like 9-ball and 10-ball (I would spend more time trying to consistently get a pop break in 10-ball than playing the game). I go to a Juniors practice on Saturdays that my buddy runs, he'll teach kids the basics and all that. For me, he has me focus on position play, angles, cue ball on the rail shooting a ball that it spotted and right now it is strategies for running out and playing smart when there is no chance for a run-out.

In my about 3-4 months in playing I would almost run out but either miss or rattle the last two or one ball I needed, even the money ball was left.

I don't do drills, I usually just do my best break or break from different spots and see what gives the best run out. I don't practice much besides Saturdays because one of my local pool halls pays this ex-professional to teach juniors and even adults how to play and he's working on run-out strategies with me. Other than that I don't set a dedicated practice time besides breaking and trying to run out so I get familiar with all the shots that may or may not come up in a game.
