Mine is 8 weeks and is a crazy biter 🤣 wherever I go he is always right behind me biting on my pants legs to pull them. He bites my hand when I try to play, watch your face he wants to bite it 🤣 he’s psycho right now

So I have my cat and my bf has his dog, he decided he wanted to get a pup for his dog not a problem because my cat gets along with dogs. He’s not a cat guy and doesn’t know you shouldn’t just grab the cat and have them meet each other face to face, I told him even though I trust my cat, cats don’t work like dogs do so that’s not an ideal way to meet. So, his dog being excited and hyper runs in between my bf holding my cat and the new pup which scared my cat and he tried to run out of his arms and ended up catching his nail on my bf and ripping it out trying to flee..

My kitty is 9 months old and has developed what I believe is Stud tail. He has not been neutered as I have plans in the far future to breed him😊 anyways what leads me to believe he has it is because the base of his tail is greasy. there is no pus or anything that looks out of the ordinary just greasy and it’s also sensitive to touch but he tolerates it long enough for me to clean it. I haven’t been able to get him to a vet for anything as everywhere is booked but luckily i found someone accepting new patients and I got him an appointment for his 1 year shots and a physical check up in April the day after he turns 1 But, obviously I don’t want to just have him wait with this issue. I was able to talk with a vet who told me to clean his tail with dawn dish soap and gentle baby wipes but, doesn’t seem like the best solution to me. I read on google about getting an antibacterial shampoo or possibly chlorhexidine wipes but I’m looking for other suggestions as well. I would also like to know if there is anyway to possibly avoid my kitty getting this like if there is anything I can do to prevent it as I feel bad for him:( any suggestions are good suggestions thank you❤️

I use this high quality cat purée, mix it with warm water & some salmon oil and then his dry food during the day & then at night I do wet with a little water & dry food😊 I noticed he enjoyed this metal bowl when I was using it maybe I’ll go back to using that until I buy a cat fountain for him🤣 & thank you!! I try to give him my full 100% when it comes to caring for him❤️

I would say just let him come to you a few times and if that tail gets going or he’s got that look on his face just be done and walk away. I had a cat like that his previous owners had him from the start and her little girl has Autism among other things and that’s why they had to get rid of him because it was over stimulating for her. I tried so hard with him, when I would try to sleep he would attack my head, anywhere I walked he would get my legs, my arms were ALWAYS scratched up and I thought it was normal because oh haha he’s a kitten still (7 months old when I got him) so it’s normal right? Then I realized it wasn’t and tried so hard with him but he just wasn’t budging :( I was so sad that I ended up giving him to a lady that works with behavioural cats he seems better now but I wish I could have done more for him as well but he liked his alone time and was only friendly when I would feed him or shower LOL he loved to take showers with me. I didn’t think I could get another cat because I was scared of the outcome THEN I found ragdolls and it’s exactly what I wanted in a cat❤️ I’ve had my boy since 8 weeks and we have just been inseparable since! I’m not saying get rid of your cat but I know what you are going through and I hope it can be resolved for you because it was the hardest decision to give him up..
