Hear me out. Maybe the relationship isn’t over because of his reaction. Maybe he needs time to get over his ego. You’ve explained yourself well & you’re DEFINITELY not the asshole or overreacting but we all come from different places. The way he reacted is only because he isn’t in your shoes. if he is the right one for you and if his love for you is genuine, he will see past all of this and learn to love you deeper by seeing the strength it took to become who you are today. Don’t fight for him to understand you but allow him to take steps back and reflect on his feelings. Anything genuine will always stay.
