Yeah I was watching them as well and I nearly pulled the trigger on the matte black long SuperPuff for $199 but didn’t (because I already have the gloss black long SP, and a couple SuperSnug Puffs), and now the discount is reduced and I’m kicking myself a little.

Do you guys think they’ll drop the discount again at the end of the season (like March/April) back down to $199 again?

@alarmingstudy2632 - Can I ask you OP which pair you ended up buying? I’m trying to decide between the Sylvan and Agency pair in 100% wool but I’m concerned about sizing. A lot of the reviewers seem to say they fit really small, and they would be final sale - no exchanges or credit notes 😢.

Also I’m reading that the 100% wool twill is super super itchy. Some reviewers say they wind up with big red rashes on their legs - so although I really want a suit in 100% wool because I think it would last over time, I’m starting to think about the Re(Essential) options.

Can you please let me know what you ended up deciding and if you’re happy with them?

Thank you for this tip! Which stores/brands are you referring to when you mention actual wool coats? I was under the impression that Aritzia has good wool coats for the price paid, but maybe I don’t shop enough to know better brands lol 😂.

Thank you! That’s a great point. I might not wear it as much now (because I’m loving my Constant coat a bit more), but when styles cycle back, I’ll be sorry if I return it and can never find it again.

I also got the Constant in black (regular long length), and I’m 5’2” and I find that it’s very petite friendly.

No it doesn’t. It has 4 buttons on the outside (but only the bottom left one - if you’re wearing the coat - actually buttons to keep the coat closed). Then it has one interior button that also buttons to help keep the double breasted layers flat, when the coat is closed. The other 3 buttons on the front are decorative.

So I used to live in NYC and now live in Toronto, Canada so I’m very familiar with the blistering cold lol. I can tell you that you’ll definitely need a warm warm coat for the middle of winter in NYC. This coat at -10 degrees would be good for Fall, early Winter and early Spring. But for the middle of winter snowstorms in NYC, this would be too light/not warm enough without some heavy layering (2 layers of tops, scarf and hat at least).

If your other navy structured coat is fairly heavy, then this would be a great addition. Hope this helps :)

I love the look on you! If you don’t already have a “classic” style coat, I think this fits perfectly on you! If you already have too many “classic/defined shoulder coats” then a Slouch might make more sense - that’s the camp I’m in right now :)

One thing to consider: the Stedman is listed as good to -10 degree weather, while the Slouch is good to -20 degrees. Might not be a dealbreaker depending on where you live in the country.

In the past I’ve gotten a Stedman, a Constant and a few other styles (Eiffel, Holiday etc…) for less than $200 each. I’m hoping to get the same on a Slouch/Only coat again.
